T-bone Fletcher is a British photographer and graphic artist based between New York and London. Working exclusively with analog film, the artist experiments with the layering of media, often superimposing graphics of his own design atop, or around his subjects. His portrait studies convey the raw, confident honesty that is signature to his work, often suffused with humor. Much of Fletcher’s work is characterized by his peripatetic nature; his fascination with wide-ranging American culture is ever present.
Fletcher’s early interest in Americana, in skate culture and cartoons often guides his work. Raised in London, he started using disposable cameras as a teenager. Now, his work often takes him on the road, he reflects: “No one goes to the town in the middle of nowhere. As an outsider there’s this allure, I want to put it out there for someone to see.”
The artist’s work has also been featured in Love Magazine, ES Magazine, Dazed, Document Journal, and The Face. Select clients include Versace Jeans Couture, Stussy, Carhartt WIP, Moose Knuckles and Liam Hodges.
